Hey everyone,
This week was kinda rough not gonna lie. We faced lots of rejection this week. People yelling at us, hanging up on us and blocking us.
Rain a couple days limited people out and about which was rough but we did our best to talk to everyone!
Cody got the Aaronic Priesthood on Sunday. That was really cool, I'm excited for him to progress. He is gonna go to the Temple in Kansas City this week. Unfortunately we can't go with him... but I'm excited for him!
Personal studies this week were really amazing! I learned what it means to have a wrestle with God. A quote in a talk says:
"Spiritual perseverance requires us to exercise faith in Christ by intentionally choosing Him again and again and again"
I've been thinking about prayer with that quote in mind. Sometimes my prayers die out halfway through. I'm striving to make prayers more meaningful 🙏.
Went on a couple exchanges, those are always solid. Other than that not to much happened.... just getting out each day and trying to work hard!
Oh yeah, today we went to a cave with our whole Zone, it was pretty neat! Missouri is cool!
