Hello all!
This week was a fairly busy week. We are teaching quite a few lessons a week, most are with members of the Church. We are slowly figuring out how to do facebook finding. It takes lots of patience but many missionaries have found success doing it so I am still hopeful that something will come from all our effort.
Elder Hales and I made our first Facebook video this week! We were assigned to make a post called "Muisc Monday". We decided since it was Christmas time to do Silent Night. Elder Hales is an amazing guitar player, so good in fact he has won best in the state of Utah awards. He has also won awards for his banjo and violin playing! So I was excited to work with him on a music post. I play the trumpet and the piano. Unfortunately I don't have access to a trumpet, but we've got pianos in our church!
We filmed our video and it turned out great! I will attach it to this email, and if you are my friend on Facebook, you will see the post later today!
That was the most exciting thing that happened this week. We had a great Christmas service on Sunday, our ward put together a great video.
I wanted to bear my brief testimony about Jesus Christ. I have been studying about Him for my personal studies this past week. He truly is our Saviour, without Him there would be no light in our lives! He is the light and the best source of joy and peace, and this gospel is all about Jesus which is amazing!
Also I apologize if I don't respond to emails, I love getting them and I read them all but sometimes it just gets so busy!
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Focus on Christ this week, as He is the reason for the season!
Love, Elder Spencer
